- Echos co-directors are Ros Terry and Gabby Vautier
Ros is a creative producer with particular expertise in new writing, contemporary work and participation.
Alongside her work for Echo she is Producer of the Royal Court Theatre delivering their in-house productions, co-productions, national, international and schools tours and a number of one off projects.
Previously she was a producer at the National Theatre where she where she ran their flagship youth theatre programme “Connections” the largest youth theatre festival in the world.
Connections is an annual year long festival of new writing for young people involving 10,000 young people, 500 young companies (from schools, colleges and youth theatres) and 45 leading theatres across the UK. Ros was responsibility for all these relationships and ensured that Connections was an inspiring programme of the highest quality enabling young people to take part in all aspects of theatre-making and theatre production. Previously she was the Producer of Clean Break for three years.
Independent producing credits include; the ACE funded UK touring production of “Bird” by Laura Lomas, the JMK Award Winning productions of ‘Far Away” by Caryl Churchill and “Disco Pigs” by Enda Walsh at the Young Vic and the Timeout critics choice production of “Faith, Hope and Charity” by Odon von Horvath at The Southwark Playhouse.
Ros’ freelance producing work includes; working as tour booker and fundraiser for Peut-etre Theatre, working as Producer for Music for Youth on their 2013 and 2014 Regional and National Festivals, working as Consultant and Producer for Birdsnest Theatre managing regional tours of both “Wash” and “Blown Away”.

Ros also has extensive freelance experience working for the events company Costinpank clients including Hermes, Luella Bartley, Marks and Spencers, Bulgari, Gareth Pugh and Selfridges.

Gabby Vautier: Previously Gabby was the Head of Creative and Professional Practice in Creative Learning at the Barbican and Guildhall School of Music & Drama.
Gabby produced Punchdrunks production Crash ofthe Elysium at Manchester International Festival in collaboration with the BBC and has been Freelance Producer with The Playground, The Bush Theatre and ATC.
From 2003-2010 Gabby worked at The Young Vic Theatre in Audience Development and Outreach, Producing for the Studios and on Tour, Management and Development of the Genesis Young Directors and Designers Programme and alongside David Lan the Artistic Director as Creative Associate.
Gabby was a participant of the TheatreFit International Festival Producers Lab 2011 and was a StepChange participant in 2009. Gabbys been hugely lucky to have an incredible mentor, Jessica Hepburn, Executive Director of the Lyric Hammersmith.
